(I read this after reading TOG and COM)

I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS
MOST OF THEM ABOUT SAM
AND CELAENA
BECAUSE THEY'RE PERFECT
TOGETHER
AND DAMIEN AND CHAOL WILL NEVER MATCH UP TO THAT

Okay, so the first two books in the series were good, solid YA fantasy, with some brilliant moments and a few not-so-brilliant. And that's not to say that all five of these novellas were perfect, but they're certainly my favourite SJM that I've read so far. The world-building, the characters, the EVERYTHING! It was great seeing Celaena before TOG - giving us more insight into her character, and honestly making her more likeable.

Honestly, reading this has made me more excited to carry on reading the series! I hope that Heir of Fire carries on the excellence.
