An interesting AU fit of a fanfic.

I actually liked Aldon as a character for once. His thoughts and actions felt realistic and accurate based on the circumstances and I loved the character growth he went through. Despite how AU it is from Violet's fic, I still enjoyed the story and I'm excited to see where things go after this. The politics really interest me, and Kit does a good job of incorporating that and the legal aspect as well.

Going through my reading updates when I first started this fic last year...I still agree with everything I said. While Aldon is much more likeable and his actions have a purpose, it still doesn't excuse his behaviour. I also feel that Harry wasn't that accurate to the actual fic, though we don't see anything from her perspective, but some of her actions during the tournament just didn't seem like things she would do. I feel like Violet has something different in mind, and I know whatever it is, it's going to be amazing and heartbreaking and just so good.
