The only reason this doesn't get five stars is every single time Violet sees Xaden that she goes on about how dark, mysterious, and sexy he is. Not that I think she's wrong, but it does get a little old and eye rolly after a while. Other than that, I loved this book - good diversity, fun fantasy setting, and although it follows a few tropes, not everything felt cliché and predictable.
