Well I finished. I was not expecting that. I didn't realize it was just book 1 for Mac, I guess I thought each book focused on different people. That's okay. But I found this particular book so boring. I kept waiting for something more to happen. And I guess stuff happens...I don't know. I am not sure why I wasn't super into it. The first person does throw me off. And I can't say I loved Mac. She was a bit annoying. Her denials about everything for much of the book then her stupid behavior, repeatedly...I kept waiting for her to be really bad ass and it hasn't happened yet.

Something else that happens a lot, is the book will allude to something that happens in the future that you don't know about yet. Something like....later, I would wonder how I ever made it through in one piece. Or, Soon I would understand what he meant by that statement. There was no way I could have known how true it was. ETC. I just made those up because I'm too lazy to find a direct quote from the book. But anyway I found those really annoying. Just tell the story!

Gosh I'm grumpy. Haha.

Will I continue with the series? Probably at some point. But I'm not eager to start book 2 right now.
