This book is too dang short!!! I really enjoyed what worldbuilding there was, I love folklore relating to sentient forests, I just wish there had been more.
The romance is a little sappy and a little strange, but still very wholesome. I too would fall in love with an ancient not-quite-human-any-more forest person.
