Web of Lies by Sally Rigby
5.0

It can be tricky to write a meaningful review when you’re really tired and I beg your pardon if this one will sound silly or a bit like “the writer of this post is dog tired and she’s writing and sleeping at the same time”
Any issue with this post is not caused by the book because I had a lot of fun reading it and I can’t wait to read new stories featuring Sebastian and Birdie.
I loved them, the aristocratic second son turned detective and the sharp and frustrated police officer. Even if they have a different story and social background they work well together and their banters are very entertaining.
The story is well developed and kept me reading till late in the night. There are plenty of twists and turn, a solid mystery that kept me guessing.
The character developments is good and I liked the humour and how the story works.
To summarize: a thoroughly enjoyable story, gripping and entertaining.
It is strongly recommended.
