well sorry to say Michael, but the third book was definitely better than the second! it was slightly different to the first two books, but i found the pace to be much better than the second and that the storyline line was a lot more fluid in the second book.

unlike other reviews i've read regarding this book, i didn't cry. not even close. someone had to bite the bullet and it wasn't who i thought it would or should have been but shit happens. Katniss still gave me the shits but i'm happy with the way the book ended and who she ended up with.

definitely a good trilogy, but the first book is the most definitely the obvious standout.
