This book is slow to start, but gentle and loving, just like the Pumpkin King. If you're looking for something that gives you the vibe of living in Halloween Town but cozier, check this out. 
 
 I haven't loved a scarecrow this much since Wizard of Oz! Scrags is the best. I can't wait to read more of the Pumpkin Princess's adventures!
