sarahsbookstack 's review for:
Georgie, All Along
by Kate Clayborn
lighthearted
slow-paced
Unfortunately, this is probably my last favorite of the Clayborn novels that I've read. It wasn't bad but it wasn't on par with Love Lettering or Love At Last to me.
We have Georgie who has lost her job that she was good at but didn't really make her feel fulfilled. She runs into Levi, the brother of her childhood crush Evan, who also happens to be staying at her parents while his house gets fixed.
They grow close as Georgie fulfills childhood dreams as much as she can. But Levi has his own demons in this town and it's hard for him sometimes.
There are a lot of thoughts that aren't spoken aloud so it makes the book go a bit slow. I think I enjoyed the friendship between Georgie and Bel more than the romantic one. It was also a bit more "spicy" than I remember in any of her others.
