This cute book about playing in the snow includes a whole troop of cousins who have to coordinate their snow day games, trust in God to protect them when things get scary, and ultimately take care of one another and laugh along the way.

I loved the cartoony illustrations and the bright colors. The pictures really enhance the story and draw the reader into the snow day fun!

I didn't like that there are so many characters in this story, but I think they are based on the author's actual grandchildren, so I can overlook it. There are just too many names to remember them all!

The narrative tends to over-describe every detail, instead of just telling a concise story. But I liked the games the children play, the way they interact and laugh together, and the parents involvement in their children's play day. The whole story is silly and fun, with some serious moments of prayer, and some good Bible lessons about love and trust.

This would be a great gift for children aged 5-8!
