SO, I listen to audiobooks from the library on my way to and from work. I've listed to thee books from the [b:The Ruins of Gorlan|60400|The Ruins of Gorlan (Ranger's Apprentice, #1)|John Flanagan|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1293952830s/60400.jpg|810498] series, and I liked it very much. So, when I was scrolling to the forth book and I spotted this one, i decided to listen to another book, one my colleague likes, and to get some variation.
Bad decision.
It was read very very badly. No emotions, and the intonation of the quotes was just a bit off. So the whole book felt a bit weird. The story did not really grab me, until the last of the 8 hours. I wanted to get to know how the story developed from point a to b and then to point c, but my interest was not very high. So an average 3* for the book and a -1* for the bad reading.
