This is a hard one for me to rate. The subject matter for its time period is very groundbreaking, and I found it fascinating learning about growing up gay during the 50s and 60s. The problems I had with the book was the switch of perspectives between David and the contributing author, I don’t feel like they added anything and it really messed with the pacing. A reformat this book could be even easier to digest.
