Claw Heart Mountain
by David Oppegaard
dark
fast-paced
I honestly felt like I was reading a "monster of the week" from the X-Files!
5 rich teens on a summer vacation stumble upon an armored van with no drivers in sight and millions of dollars. What could go wrong if they took some of that money? Who would it hurt?
Well, this book shows you exactly what can go wrong when a "hunter" comes to find that missing money, the cops/the DEA start looking for it, and if that's not enough.... Let's throw in a local legend "The Wraith" who is actually real and terrorizing this mountain top!
I flew through this book. The Wraith parts were so unnerving. Not everyone in the beginning of the story will make it out alive and there were a few surprises along the way.
