I initially started reading this at the start of October in 2021. I got 275 pages in and dnf’d before the end of the year, because I felt like nothing of note was happening and the pace was painfully slow. (2 stars)
Fast forward to February 2022 and I finished the final ⅓ in less than two days. It was exploding with action, full of emotion and I absolutely loved it. I needed to know these characters to enjoy this final third, but it genuinely felt like a completely different book. One that I loved with my whole heart. (4 stars)
