Dream On
by Angie Hockman
Dream On is such an interesting premise - Cass wakes up from a coma vividly remembering her boyfriend, Devin Bloom, but he doesn’t exist. She moves on to pursue her law career, leaving thoughts of her dreamed-up boyfriend behind… until she meets him in real life.
This was a very well-paced, short romance with instalove and a love triangle. I wanted to keep reading to see what caused Cass’s car accident and why she was dreaming of Devin, so I read this in a short period of time. Some scenes were a little overly dramatic, and I’m not sure how I felt about Devin/Sadie’s storyline - it didn’t sit entirely right with me. But I did love that Angie Hockman allowed the characters to go outside of the expectations others had of them to pursue what made them happy.
