Spinning Silver
by Naomi Novik
Delightful. I was grabbed by Myriam's story from the outset, and found her to be a very interesting character. An interesting world, reminiscent of that from [b:Uprooted|22544764|Uprooted|Naomi Novik|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1550135418s/22544764.jpg|41876730] (perhaps a shared universe?). I didn't find that all of the POV characters quite pulled their weight, but it was an effective way to tell the story, and despite a slight slowdown about 4/5th of the way in, I was pulled along nearly the whole way. Will pick up new Noviks without hesitation.
