I loved the premise of the book ie a love story between an author and the owner of a bookstore. However it fell short of my expectations.

I didn’t expect the main FMC to hate reading!

. I think that put me off and slowly killed off any love I could have had for the story. I also found the chemistry between the FMC & MMC lacking and this isn't just because the book lacked spicy scenes, they just weren't convincing to me as a couple. 
The author writes well though and I would buy the physical copy for the cover alone however I didn't enjoy the story as much as I thought I would
