Incredible writing, and surprisingly relevant to this day. When Montag was talking about how people always had little earpieces in blasting talkshows or radio shows or music because every moment must always be filled with noise, I became acutely aware of my own tendency to always have Bluetooth earbuds in and be listening to something (a podcast, an audiobook, a video, ambient noise, music etc.) and took them out so I could just BE with the book.
Wasn't the biggest fan of the weird way Bradbury tried to blame censorship partially on minorities (??). He used examples of dog lovers vs cat lovers complaining but let's be real, he meant racial and gender minorities etc., which is an odd take given the way our voices have been the ones historically censored through oppression.
But the rest of book made so many excellent points in beautiful language that I'll give this old dead white dude a pass and rate the novel a 5/5 anyway.
