This is the third book in the series and, so far, my least favorite—mostly because it didn’t have the same sweetness as the others. Friends-to-lovers isn’t my favorite trope, and that might have played a role too. That said, the stepdaughter character was absolutely adorable and added a lot of heart to the story. While this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me, I still enjoyed it and definitely plan to keep reading the series.
