Picked this up at a local Goodwill and thought I'd give it chance, now I see why it was given away in the first place.

This book was a struggle to get through and considering it is written in verse, you would think I would have had an easier time reading it.

None of the characters are interesting, believable, or fully fleshed out. None of the situations are realistic, and the ending was so out of left field, abrupt, and pointless that I wish I would left this book right on the Goodwill shelf for some other poor shopper to take.

The romance is flat, the dialogue is incredibly hard to follow and not realistic, the characters seem like caricatures of people instead actual fleshed out characters, and the surprise police brutality ending that came out of no where made this a very unenjoyable read.

Honestly, jus skip this one.
