This was a great, fast-paced book!

I would have given it 4.5 stars but the end was a little rushed, and the big fight scene was only a few pages (-.5 stars). The FMC was only seventeen, but I kept thinking she was older since so many things happened 5 years before (to her brother), which would have made her 12(-.5 stars)? Seems young, but I guess that's also the way the world was built.

Wasn't a big fan of the romance when it reached its time, but I did like the enemies-to-lovers start of it! Then it trickled into insta-love, which is not a favourite trope of mine.

Excited to read the next book and hopefully, see some of the characters again, but considering The Last Legacy - the "3rd" in the Fable Series didn't have any original cast appear, I won't get my hopes up
