An eye-opening, thrilling take on Berlin during the early years of Hitler's reign, as everything was moving toward WWII. If nothing else, this book made me realize how much I hope I never live in a world where I have to live as someone else dictates I must. Lots of twists and turns along the way, a couple that I was able to figure out but only at the last moment, and a few bigger ones that I did not figure out or see coming ahead of time, as, I feel, a good thriller should do.
