Soon Cole becomes obsessed with Mara and her survival, he becomes obsessed with her will to live, and soon they both end up in a twisted relationship... but there is still the matter of Alastor who has also taken an interest in Mara and Cole.. who wants this competition to end with only one of them left alive. This is the first book in the duology and definitely is not for everyone. It’s a anti-hero romance, except these three are all slightly twisted people, some more than others on the spectrum. Do read the warnings before heading into this book. Overall, an interesting read.
