This is a beautiful book about identity, literally rediscovering yourself and finding out what you want in life.
Stevie and Nora are secretly in love in their small-minded town. They are planning to leave it all after the summer between high school and college. But everything changes when Stevie falls and hits her head and does not remember the last two years.
Stevie went through a lot after the fall and with her retrograde amnesia. I loved that we got to read snippets of how Nora felt during all of this in her journal, too. This is definitely not the lightest read but I felt hopeful all the way through.
