Although I'd seen the movie which took away a lot of the surprises I still enjoyed it. I think it was an incredible finale for a book series. J.K. Rowling's characters are really well rounded. All with their own desires and backgrounds. None of them is perfect and that is what makes them perfectly human. Even the wizarding world itself is flawed by its obsession of traditions.

Sometimes I was shocked how Voldemort's regime sort of resembles terrorism. He spread a huge amount of fear into the world. And just as the Sorting Hat warned time and again: we have to stand together. What does it matter where your blood in your veins comes from? You can change that question into a lot of others, and still what counts is where your heart is.
