Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane
by Suzanne Collins
THIS SERIES...so good. I have no words.
Not going to write a long review for this one, but I loved all of it. It’s dark, it’s heartbreaking, it’s violent; but it’s also so heartwarming, and real, and it just addresses so many things that I would not expect in a middle grade. Which makes me wish there was even more hype surrounding this series. I feel like Gregor has grown so much as a character in this book. He’s also gone through a lot of trauma and I sort of hate Bartholomew Sandwich for ruining his life. Why can’t my boy just go to school and play with his sisters and help Mrs. Cormaci and not be stressed out???
Also, I pointed out to Mackenzie how and I’m kind of freaking out at all the implications.
PLEASE READ THIS SERIES
