I got lucky this May, reading not one but two of my favorite books of the year. Tommy Orange’s beautiful, thought-provoking writing weaves together multiple perspectives of multiple characters who’s paths will intersect in meaningful and sometimes heartbreaking ways. Each character’s story was so vividly told, I found myself feeling deeply connected to each of there stories. 

I highly recommend this book to everyone and look forward to reading more of Orange’s work—and being more intentional about adding Indigenous authors to my TBR.
