Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations
by Mira Jacob
Good Talk is extremely touching and is funny as well. The images & drawings are intentional and add a lot to the memoir. This is genuinely one of my favorite graphic novels I’ve read (in the likes of Maus, Persepolis, March, etc). I love Jacobs’ commentary and perspective on interracial marriages, being brown in America, immigration, parenting, and love. This is one I’d like to reread once a year- so relevant and passionate.
