Auggie & Me: Three Wonder Stories
by R.J. Palacio
R J Palacio is adamant that there wont be a sequel to Wonder, and I don't really know if that's what I would call this, as the stories all run pretty much parallel to Auggies story in Wonder itself. This one explores the individual stories of Julian, Chris and Charlotte, and gives some insight into whats it like to be friends with Auggie, or to go to school with him and learn to accept his unusual appearance. This was a great book, although if asked, I probably couldn't really explain why I liked it so much I couldn't put it down. I got sucked into the middle school drama that goes on, but at the same time there were alot of underlying lessons about life and how people react to certain things. For example Julian and his Grandmere and the stories they have common. This was a fast, easy and enjoyable read, and if you're a fan of Auggie and Wonder, I'd definitely recommend it!
