This was extremely hard to get through. Morrison’s writing is extremely poetic and lyrical and I enjoyed how three different timelines were woven together. I’m not the biggest fan of split point of views but it provided extra context to the story so I didn’t mind it in this case. My heart feels heavy after finishing this.
