the title doesn’t fit the book

TikTok hyped this book up so much that I was expecting more. This entire book was like a preface to what the actual story is supposed to be. There is no shifter God in this book except for tiny, tiny appearances I mean like he is there and gone in a matter of seconds and the only time he says anything is the last paragraph of the entire book.
This book is all about her being found by her fated mate, and how he treats her like utter garbage until she finally decides to reject him.
