The third and final entry of the Killing Eve trilogy, I am afraid that this one underwhelms. There are some good ideas, but they are delivered with shaky execution; this novel could have used some better editing to be honest. Additionally, it was really obvious that a man was the one writing this relationship between two women. While Luke Jennings is a more than competent author with good ideas, he botched that part I’m afraid. Eve and Villanelle were more interesting apart than together, and while anticipation will make anything interesting, I’m afraid that’s where the fun ends with this written series.
