I just read Mars Attacks by Kyle Starks and Chris Schweitzer and damn it hits hard, it's genuinely funny, heartfelt and emotional.

My relationship with my father has always been tough. Don't get me wrong, he's there for me, just like the Major is for Spencer, but like those two, we often don't see eye to eye, we're as different as they come.

I sometimes see myself as a failure that doesn't live up to his expectations of me, this book convinced me that it's ok, because I'm not him, I'm me.
