The exploration of childhood friendship as it morphs to adult friendship and a working relationship was beautiful and the best part of the book. Some violence felt needlessly described and dwelt on; I would've liked more depth with K-town and the older generation. My favorite character was Marx but the second person narration in his viewpoint section threw me off.
