and colleen has done it again.
reminders of him is probably my favorite romance book of hers. i cried, i smiled, and i pretty much enjoyed everything about this book.
i didn’t care about ledger at first, but after redeeming himself, i absolutely loved his character. kenna is one of my favorite contemporary romance protagonists now. i also relate to her in a deeper way compared to ledger. i suppose that’s why i loved her character from the first chapter.
though colleen is known for her plot twists, i wasn’t really amazed with her plot twist here. i felt like it was just alright and predictable. the ending also felt rushed, especially with scotty’s parents.
**note that this book focuses on grief and death heavily. if you’re feeling devastated, i don’t recommend reading this book. it will shatter you.
