So now I understand the reviews I did read. It was not a terrible book, but it just felt like it dragged. And the constant bickering got incredibly irritating. I understand that they're supposed to be young teens dealing with events and responsibilities only an adult should have to, but all that whining was so unnecessary. The concept and the action parts were interesting. It just could have moved much faster.
