Yay for another Bowen/Eby collaboration! I couldn't wait to get my hands on Mann Cuffed.
What an adorable and cute story. Meg and Mac had me laughing in the first chapter.
However, after that it did take me a while to really settle into this one.
I loved everything about quirky Meg. She was just fabulous. It did take me a while to come around the Mac, more than it usually takes me with a character in this series. I just wanted to shake some sense into him half the time. He does have his moments, but gah he frustrated me so much.
There were some great secondary characters. There were a few that I was sure I wasn't going to like, however this delightful duo wrote it so I couldn't help but like them.
Overall though, this story did fall flat for me. It was sweet and cute, however there was a whole lot of nothing much happening for most of the book, and it really lacked the oomph that the other books in the series have had.
I do look forward to more from Ms Bowen and Ms Eby though.
