omqchristi 's review for:
Every Boy's Got One
by Meg Cabot
readability: 5/5
Plot: 4/5
Recommend: Yes
Jane and Cal both work at the NY Journal and their best friends are getting married. After hate at first sight, Cal and Jane find themselves stuck in a villa together trying to fix their friends wedding.
I read this book in one sitting and it was really easy to get through. The story isn't that original, but it was good.
There were some parts of the story where I though some things were completely unnecessary or weird. Like, when Cal writes about wanting to give mouth-to-mouth to Peter's great-grandmother just for the kick of it.
I also thought it was sweet and weird how Jane wrote everything down while she and Cal were talking. Like, they are supposed to be having a conversation, so why does she feel like it is a great opportunity to record memories on paper (rather than through a phone--and later add the conversation into the book as a transcript)?
I liked the enemies-to-lovers romance. It was cute and enjoyable to read (mostly).
