Samantha is waiting for her husband Richard to come home. He is late and has not called to let her know where he is. But when he finally does arrive, his behavior is erratic and violent. This is an unnerving and creepy novella about an abusive marriage. It somewhat stressed me out, but I also felt compelled to keep reading to see how it ends.
