I'm not really into billionaire asshole romance type books but this series is incredibly popular so I decided to give it a try.

The Good
Ava is a little silly but I liked her. Alex needs therapy. Together they both had a lot of issues they dealt with in complete opposite ways. The twist was very interesting and added a level of tragedy to the story.

The Bad
I found some of the writing cringe worthy instead of sexy but in these types of romance books that's to be expected. It just took me out of the story sometimes. I wish the last half was more romance focused than thriller/crime drama. The book was at least 100 pages too long and really dragged in the third act. I stopped rooting for them as much as before.
