Valuable, real-life subjects are presented but the writing felt incredibly forced. The dialogue felt like it was guiding the plot along--not building the relationships the girls shared with each other or with their world.
That being said...I'll probably still recommend it to fans of Raina Telgemeier and Sunny Side Up.
