An ingenious Alice retelling that strips away the whimsy of the original text to centre the grotesquely nonsensical side of Wonderland… only to be bogged down by 2014-era YA pitfalls of possessive love interests and Not Like Other Girls bullshit. The skateboarding element was unique, though!
