This took me a long time to get into, but it did get better as I got further along. The magic was interesting and the world was absolutely fabulous! I gave this book a whole star just for the Londons, wow!

I really loved Kell, and I enjoyed his chapters. I do wish the book had explored his relationship with Rhy a bit better though, because I loved their relationship but it all felt very surface level. It could have been the relationship at the heart of the book, and that would have been fantastic.

There were a couple of other interesting characters. The Dane twins were pretty cool, as was Holland. My biggest struggle, and basically the reason the book lost two stars for me, was Lila. She is the epitome of 'not like other girls' and because of that read very flat. She is the type of character who feels she had suffered, and noone else has suffered because they haven't experienced her exact situation. Ugh.

Overall, worth a read and I'm going to be picking up the next in the series.
