The Chain is a crazy, creepy concept. At times I felt like something like this would never even happen and other times I felt that there is such evil in this world that it's plausible.
Once we start getting the backstory of The Chain, I felt disturbed by the (sorry... pun) chain of events that led to this chain thing becoming real. I felt that some of the middle parts of the book dragged on and that made me not read this as fast as I might other thrillers.
