» PLOT «
Bailey is moving to the west coast, to the exact town her online friend, Alex lives. Doubting her decision, since they've never met or seen each other, Bailey doesn't tell Alex that she's in town. Unknowingly, she gets a job at the local museum where Alex also works as a security guard at. Except, he doesn't go by Alex. To everyone, including Bailey, he is Porter, the beautiful, cocky, curly-haired boy. They should be friends, but when they start off on a bad introduction, they quickly become enemies.

Contrary to the synopsis, this really isn't an enemies-to-lovers. Much like [b:Red, White & Royal Blue|41150487|Red, White & Royal Blue|Casey McQuiston|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1566742512l/41150487._SY75_.jpg|61657690], the enemies part
is really short
. However, I actually really liked the pacing and delivery of this book over [b:Red, White & Royal Blue|41150487|Red, White & Royal Blue|Casey McQuiston|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1566742512l/41150487._SY75_.jpg|61657690], so I'm okay with it.

» READABILITY «
This book was medium paced, and easy to read. I read this book in one session, mainly because it was easy for me to do so. and not just because I couldn't stop.

» CHARACTERS «
I liked the two main characters, and there really wasn't anyone in the book that I didn't like. There is a clear semi-antagonist that was less likeable, but I honestly didn't care for him.

» WRITING «
The writing is pretty average, not too flowery, but not too plain.

» OVERALL «
I really like this book, but I don't love it. I'm not gushing over it.
