That was absolutely amazing. I was blown away by this book and was even more surprised when I saw it was Angie Thomas's first book. 

There are too many things to count when I think about my favorite parts of this book. I love Starr's journey and the portrayal of activism. 

I kind of hope this book is taught in schools, like how my 8th grade English class read Monster by Walter Dean Myers. 

I can't wait to see what Angie does next.
