Against White Feminism: Notes on Disruption
by Rafia Zakaria
challenging
informative
reflective
fast-paced
When you read a lot of books on a certain topic, after a while, all the info becomes repeated. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, for books like these where you’re meant to reflect and learn from what’s shared, it takes away from the book. HOWEVER, that was absolutely not the case with this book. I learned so much specific info about Palestine and how (specifically) 2nd wave feminist idols failed in so many ways. While that isn’t a surprise, the stories the author wrote about were new info to me and I found myself learning a lot in ways I didn’t expect. An amazing read and also interesting.
