This was a gorgeous read. It's a shame that life got in the way between the first section and the rest as it would have just been like one long gorgeous song if I read it in one go.

But nevermind that. This book was odd, with so many ideas going through my head of what it means. Dead papa toothwort is described by many as a boogeyman, but is he really? This is more of a stream of thoughts than a review.

I'd love to let this sit on my shelf for a few years, then pick it up again in a few years' time, I suspect many other things and feelings will stand out then.
