This is the story of Laurie who sees the love of her life on a bus journey home one December evening and the following ten years.

I found myself completely drawn in right from the start, not because I fell in love with it but because I had such strong opinions about what the characters should be doing and where I thought it was going. I really enjoyed progressing with the characters over the ten years and that ending was just movie worthy!

I read this in a buddy read and we all agreed that the biggest love story in this book is actually between the two friends Laurie and Sarah.

I did find the love at first sight element unrealistic (it actually made me role my eyes) but the rest of the story more than made up for that! Also if your saving this for a Christmas read then you needn't bother. Other than their eyes meeting *eye roll* through a bus window in December, there isn't much else Christmassy about the book.
