The Power of Six
by Pittacus Lore
An improvement on the first.
Seven is a much more likeable main character/narrator than Four. Perhaps it's the Spanish Catholic upbringing or perhaps it's because she's not a teenage male.
Things are getting interesting. Even if some of the plot twists are obvious (Another number being rescued from the mountain, Sam being left behind).
The writing has improved since the first book.
Some of the characters have more depth. Four unfortunately doesn't.
Cliched love triangle. Barf.
2.5/5
Still carrying on the series though!
